The two brothers Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm lived a life very close to each other. Jacob was a genius of collecting as his brother Wilhelm hit the naive tone of storytelling better than any poet. On Achim von Arnim and Clemens Brentano's advice they published "Children's and houshold tales" (1812 - 14, 1822) the best of which are contained in the miniature edition.
