Luther’s 95 Theses were rapidly introduced to a wider public in the form of printed posters and pamphlets. A German translation probably also soon followed. Our German translation of the Latin »Disputatio pro declaratione virtutis indulgentiarum« (Weimar edition, vol. I, pp. 233–238) is by the Luther Society in Wittenberg.

Our poster is produced by the printers of the Gutenberg Museum using the letterpress printing technique.
